My name is Jon and this is my personal blog about music, old computers, general ramblings and thought dumps.
The blog is intentionally minimalist and uncluttered. There are no widgets or fancy sidebars, there is barely a menu, just writing. However, you can search below for any specific topic or click on any category or archive post that interests you.
After far too many years in IT, I am now trying to forge a living out of selling records and writing. I was a certified Oracle DBA for most of my career, and still dabble now and then if I need to inject some funds into the bank account, so I am always interested to hear about short and/or part time projects. My main interest is Revival Records, where I review records old and new (mainly my musical passions which is mod revival, prog rock, folk and jazz) and sell things (records/CDs/Tee Shirts etc) – this is a work in progress and I am slowly building up and expanding the shop.
